Facade access, cleaning and inspection take on the most new L1s. Offshore, wind and NDT usually want experience or extra tickets first. Aim your first months where the doors are widest, then specialise.
Have your tickets, insurance and kit ready to start tomorrow. Be reliable and easy on site, word travels fast in a small industry. A supervisor who trusts you will bring you back and pass your name on.
Training centres, Facebook groups like "Rope Access Workers UK", and ex-classmates fill more first jobs than adverts. Ask directly, and keep your details tidy so you can send them in seconds.
Once the work starts, keep your logbook and invoices clean from day one so month three is not a mess.
