There is no public directory of technicians. Companies cannot browse profiles, search names or see who is on Cowstail. Until you act, you are invisible.
When you apply to a job, the company sees your name, your in-date tickets, and, only if you tick the boxes, your phone and day rate. That snapshot is fixed at the moment you apply. They never see your finances, your clients, your logbook or your other applications.
Invoices, earnings, expenses and tax figures are visible to exactly one person: you. No company, no other tech, ever.
Sharing your cert wallet creates a link you can revoke at any moment. Expired cards you have replaced move to history and leave shared passes automatically.
A company can invite you to their team, and every booking they send still needs your accept. Leave a roster whenever you like; nothing is booked over your head.
After a job, both sides can rate each other. Ratings are never public and never shown to the other side, they only tune your own matching.
Settings → Delete account erases everything: records, invoices, certs and every uploaded file. No retention tricks, no "deactivated" limbo. Want a copy first? Email hello@cowstail.app and we export your data.
