Guide

Create and send your first invoice

From blank screen to sent PDF in about a minute.

Invoices live under Sales. Tap the + and pick Invoice.

1. Pick the client

Choose an existing client or add a new one on the spot. Their email and payment terms fill in automatically.

2. Add your work

Add a line for your labour (day rate × days) and any materials. Each line is marked Labour by default, which matters for CIS.

3. VAT and CIS

If you are VAT-registered, VAT is added automatically. If the job is CIS, switch it on, the deduction applies to labour only and shows in the totals. You can save CIS for that client so future invoices remember it.

4. Send

Tap Save & send to email a clean PDF, or share a link. The invoice status then tracks itself: sent, viewed, paid.

Tip: set your day rate and business details once in Settings and every invoice starts half-done.
