Delete your Cowstail account

Deleting your account removes it completely: your profile, invoices, quotes, clients, kit register, qualifications, expenses, career log and every uploaded file. This applies to technician and company accounts alike.

Delete it yourself, in the app

Open Cowstail (app or app.cowstail.app) and go to Settings → Delete account. Confirm, and the account and all of its data are deleted immediately. This takes under a minute and needs no email or waiting.

Or request deletion by email

Email hello@cowstail.app with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address the account is registered to. We confirm and delete within 72 hours.

What is deleted, and when

• Deleted immediately: your account, every record in it (invoices, quotes, clients, kit, qualifications, expenses, jobs, career log) and every uploaded file (cert scans, receipts, logos).
• Backups: encrypted database backups are kept for disaster recovery and roll off automatically within 30 days. They are never used to restore deleted accounts.
• Nothing is kept beyond that. We do not retain "anonymised" copies and we never sold or shared your data in the first place.

Deleting some data without closing the account

Every record in Cowstail can be deleted individually in the app (invoices, clients, kit items, qualifications, expenses and so on). For anything else, email hello@cowstail.app and we will handle it under your UK GDPR rights.
